CalorieCounterFeatures publishes feature-by-feature reviews of calorie counter apps. We are an independent publication.

1. EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
We do not accept paid placement. No app pays to be included in our matrix or to receive a higher score. Editorial decisions — scoring, inclusion, ranking — are made by the editorial team and are not subject to vendor approval.

2. AFFILIATE LINKS
This site may contain affiliate links. When you click a link to an app's official sign-up page and subscribe, we may receive a small referral fee at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships, when they exist, do not influence which app receives a higher score on our matrix. The score rubric is fixed and published before any affiliate consideration.

3. RUBRIC-LOCKED SCORING
Every cell in our matrix is scored against a published rubric. The rubric does not move based on which apps have affiliate relationships with us. Independent verification of vendor claims is required. See our methodology page for the rubric for each feature.

4. CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Editors disclose personal product use. Methodology consultants disclose any financial relationship with reviewed companies. No editor or consultant holds equity in any reviewed app as of the publication date.

5. CORRECTIONS
Factual errors are corrected with a visible correction note at the bottom of the affected article. Editorial corrections are welcome via the contact link on our methodology page.

6. NO TRADE-LINK NETWORK
We do not participate in link-trading networks with other independent review sites. Editorial independence is preserved by not building reciprocal-link relationships.
